There was nothing not to like about this property. The location was so convenient, less than a five-minute walk to the Interlaken West Train Station, two minutes to a Coop Grocery store, and had many terrific restaurants in easy walking distance. The breakfast included with the rate was about the best we had in the two weeks we traveled in Switzerland. In addition to the standard fare of breads, meats and cheeses, yogurt and various fruits and vegetables they offered made to order eggs prepared to your liking. The breakfast room and the adjacent lounge area with comfy couches and chairs, a large screen TV and a working fireplace was a nice place to relax after a long day of hiking. The balcony in our room was an unexpected surprise, and a great place to watch the many hang gliders from. Another unexpected surprise was the property had a washer and dryer on site for guests' use. We were planning on doing laundry in Interlaken by taking a bus to a local laundromat and this was much more convenient, and time saving. (3- 2CHF coins for each the washer and dryer, detergent provided). Saving the best for last- the Staff! The owner Kim is so welcoming and gracious. You feel like a friend within minutes of meeting her. A great conversationalist with funny anecdotes. The reception area is filled with information on the area and Kim answered any question we had. The rest of the staff, the breakfast servers and housekeepers, were pleasant and helpful as well.

A beautiful traditional old hotel in a great position, close to shops, cafes and restaurants, and only a short stroll to the upmarket shopping precinct. The room was large and looked straight out at the snow-tipped Jungfrau and Mönch mountains. It also had a large comfortable couch for reading, a balcony, and a small table & chairs. Bathroom was fine - not huge, but the hot water in the shower was good. Parking was easy, right in front - although this was October so it may be different in high season. No elevator, but we were on the first floor so no issues.. Breakfast was great - lots of croissants bread rolls & sweet pastries, eggs on request, fresh fruit cereals, toast and an assortment of jams. No in-house restaurant, but there are many within walking distance. Special thanks to Iñes, Mariana and Susanne, so very welcoming and helpful.

After a very nerve raking drive from Lucerne to Interlaken and a minor car accident once in town, we arrived very late to the hotel; I kept in touch to let them know of our delay but -Ines- who was extremely helpful and kind, left the keys and instructions in a safe outside the hotel. Next morning we were upgraded to a better room due to some inconveniences in the first, by -Mariana- who was also very nice and helpful . Our scrambled eggs were done with gusto and a big smile by -Magali- In general the three young ladies were amazing

The owner Kym and her team are very welcoming. My 4 night stay meant I soon felt at home. My room was lovely with everything I needed and a lovely view from my balcony. I made good use of the self serve laundry facilities which were well-priced. The breakfast was very nice-especially the scrambled eggs- a nice addition to the continental breakfast. The location is perfect. It is in a quiet area but a short walk soon brings you to the town centre or better yet a lovely riverside walk where you can witness locals jumping in to cool off and be carried downstream. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and the nearest station is a ten minute walk away. If I ever return to Interlaken, I'd love to stay at the Post Hardermannli again.

The host was super responsive when our check in got delayed, and even picked up a late night phone call when we were too tired to think straight upon check in. Of course there are stairs, it's Europe! Just don't pack what you don't want to carry ;) The view is worth it. I think my friend and I had the best room in the house, top floor middle balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains. The bathroom was stocked with fresh towels, a hair dryer, and bathroom tissue. Breakfast was so appreciated, fresh fruits, breads, made to order eggs, cereal, yogurt, a feast for a king! The location was perfect walking to Interlaken West bus/ferry to Thun and many restaurants. Interlaken looked like a cuckoo clock village come to life! Thank you for making our stay memorable.

Thank you, Hotel Post-Hardermannli, for providing such a warm and welcoming stay. Although there was no elevator, the front desk staff was kind enough to help carry my luggage upstairs. The view from the room was amazing — I could see both the sunrise and sunset over the Jungfrau right from my window. The hotel is conveniently located near Interlaken West Station and close to a supermarket. The breakfast was lovely — I especially enjoyed the fried eggs and scrambled eggs! 🍳😊 Thank you for making my stay in Interlaken so comfortable and memorable!

The staff was amazing!! Everyone was so courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful! Since it was our anniversary vacation, they decorated our room with hearts, rose petals, & swans. We were surprised & delighted! The room was beautiful & so clean!! We loved the balcony they gave us (& the fan since there’s no AC). It was a wonderful experience!!

My daughter and I had a great 4 days. The breakfast is fantastic , with a choice of different eggs. We recommend scrambled eggs !! It's close to Interlaken West. An easy bus route to Interlaken Ost, or a 25 minute walk. We had a view of the mountains from our room, which was beautiful, and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings.Lots of places to eat close by if you don't want to walk very far.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Post Hardermannli in Interlaken for 4 days. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The location is perfect — close to the train and bus stations, the main walking street, great restaurants, and shopping. The free parking was a big plus! The staff were friendly, helpful, and made me feel very welcome. The breakfast was also excellent. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

We truly appreciated the early check-in, which was extremely helpful. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome, and it was great that they were so comfortable communicating in English. The breakfast spread was excellent, with plenty of variety. The location was perfect—right in the center with easy access to both the train and bus stations.
